Zac's Trip to Nashville
Zac recently had a client to meet with in Nashville Tennessee. Not only did he get to check off one more state that he hadn't yet visited (just 13 more to go!), but he also got to visit the Country capital of the world.
He said it was just as I had imagined it! Tons of little diners and dive bars with live band playing in every single one. And these guys are seriously talented musicians!
However, this neither one of us expected. There is a full-scale replica of the Parthenon right in the middle of the city! It was built at the end of the 1800s for a city exposition and remains as a tourist site to this day!
And of course, his tourist stops would have to take him to the Grand Ole Opry!
Some familiar faces!
Zac was surprised by how small the venue actually is, and also discovered that they use church benches for seating, which were both a bit surprising.
Zac likes to now tell people that he has sang at the Grand Ole Opry!
This was a fun little dessert place that Zac visited that sold cookie dough in a cup. You pick your dough flavor and your mix-ins and then chow down on some cookie dough!
He was also able to squeeze in a quick stop to the Country Music Hall of Fame where they had a few cool relics, but he said was mostly a bit boring and had a lot of names that he wasn't familiar with.
This car was in the Counry Music Hall of Fame. Check out all of that saddle leather, the pistols as handles, and the saddle for a middle console. Pretty awesome!
