Halloween 2021

Halloween was a whirlwind of activity this year as we started the day in Boise and busted it home as fast as we could to arrive just in time for the Ward trunk or treat.  We then took the youngest three trick or treating around the community and hurried home so that Zac could plan a 5th Sunday lesson for church the next day early in the morning while we watched Wallace and Grommit and the Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

Whitlee decided to be her favorite animal, a fox.  She was a leopard last year and seems to enjoy being various animals.  This girl loves animals!

And since Ian is 14 and loves to torment Whitlee, he decided to be a hunter and this is how he went to the ward party.

This could make a cute couples costume someday?

Whitlee loved her hat and vest so much that I caught her sleeping in her costume.

Bronson could think of nothing he would like to be more than an NFL player.  He would have liked to have been his favorite Saints player, Taysum Hill, but the Hill jerseys are hot right now and really expensive, so he settled for Steelers quarterback, Ben Rothlisberger, since brother Tanner already had quite a bit of Steelers gear.

Every good NFL player needs a ref in their face, so dad happily obliged to keep Bronson in line.

Charlotte was an adorable lifeguard and matched with a friend.  I had a shark hoodie and shark socks to "couple" with her costume, but didn't get a single picture :(

Ashlyn and her friends decided to be "Frat Boys" and this is how they envisioned a Frat boy to look and act.  No worries about these girls though, I knew it was just water and punch in their cups.

We had some spooky cuisine on Halloween night!

And of course, we spent hours preparing our jack-o-lanterns for our annual Pumpkin Pick!

I won this year with my Pac Man and Ghost contribution!

And Zac had a very creative entry that may have fell a little flat when he carved an "Amazon Alexa" pumpkin.

And in the closest Pumpkin Pick between the kids in Pumpkin Pick history, Tanner beat Charlotte byu one vote in overtime.  The golden pumpky now resides in his room and we got to watch Shang Chi and eat homemade peanut butter cups!
