Fun Times

Summer was long this year and we made use of every minute of it!

Bronson had over a week off of school where he was home by himself as his school had to call a COVID break due to too many faculty cases.  He kept finishing all of his assignments too quickly, so I took him to Hobby Lobby and bought him a model rocket.  He learned a lot by putting it together and then taking it apart again when he figured out he had made some mistakes and then re-engineering parts to replace the ones that got glued on and torn apart.  We were so excited when the rocket actually launched and did not blow up on take-off!

Many blanket forts have been built and slept in!

And when there aren't forts in place, we love using our game table that we got two years ago for Christmas for family game nights!

Bronson, Whitlee, and Charlotte did some really secret service for neighbors while in heavy disguise.

Whitlee learned to make a snow hat and made this one all by herself.

Bronson read so much that he fell asleep!

But also got to meet a favorite author, Brandon Mull when he came to our local mall and got an autograph in a few of his books.

The boys went skeet shooting at a local gun range and had a lot of fun.

And Bronson was giddy with excitement when Dad let him lend a hand doing demolition on an old pizza parlor.  This kid thought it was great fun to smash mirrors and walls with his hammer.
It seems like there is never a quiet or dull moment in our family.
