Eastern Idaho State Fair

Ever since we moved close to where the Eastern Idaho State Fair is held every year, we have developed a love/ hate relationship.  We love that the Fair is so close by and we can sneak over every night if we want to for food, entertainment, and fun.
But we are also starting to find, that it can be a lot of work as Tanner's cross country team has signed up for the last several years to help park cars to earn money, which ends up being a full family job as there are so many time slots to fill.  They have also had the opportunity to set up and take down the comedy acts which has been a lot of fun for the team, but also created a huge family project!
We also realized that the Fair would be a prime opportunity this year to use as a venue to try to sell the few remaining puppies that we needed to offload, so that became a new experience for us as well.

It's a fun, but sad realization this year that our three oldest are old enough to ditch the family and enjoy the Fair with their friends.  They have so much fun being independent and that gives us lots of time to spoil the younger kids.
It might bring the crazies to town, but we love when fair time rolls around!
