BYU Football!!

We made a goal this year to get to a BYU sporting event.  Since we had last been to a basketball game (which was amazing) we decided to find a football game to watch.  We found one vs. ISU, which ended up being the cheapest tickets of the season and on a weekend after the kids had finished up with Fall sports.  It was perfect.  And the weather ended up being perfect.
We found an awesome hotel room in Provo that fit us all and the kids were stoked to go down for a mini-family vacation.  (Though we hadn't planned on being in Boise the week before, as we didn't realize that is when cross country state meet would land when we bought the BYU tickets, so it was a little hard to compete with the Boise mini-vacation we had just had and the hotel and road trip had lost some of its excitement).

We stopped at Smith and Edwards to stretch our legs and spend hours digging through all of the amazing treasures that Smith and Edwards holds.

Our next stop along the way was Scheels, which is always a family favorite with their indoor Ferris Wheel, giant aquariums, amazing taxidermy displays, and awesome sporting equipment of every kind!

On the day of the game, we hit the Wilk to buy some BYU shirts and lunch.

And then on to the game, which was nearly sold out!  It was a packed stadium.  We got lucky with the weather, for a Saturday in November it couldn't have been more perfect weather.

And BYU ended up blowing ISU out of the water.  We kind of expected as much, but it was fun to hear that cannon fire over and over as BYU scored!
