Trip to Provo for BYU Women's Volleyball and Basketball
With Charlotte diving head long into volleyball and basketball, we thought it would be really fun for her to see both sports played at a college level, so we headed South to one of our favorite places in the world and went and watched the women's basketball and volleyball teams!
We stopped at the South Jordan Temple on the way and did baptisms for the dead.
The BYU women dominated the Kansas Jayhawks. It was so fun to watch them play so hard!
A little into the game, we got put on the Jumbotron. Soon after, Charlotte got a text from a teammate who was also at the game, and not too long after, we saw another teammate on the jumbotron, and we found 6 girls from the Snake River volleyball program in total who had attended the game that night. Cosmo joined us for a picture!
We also had a chance to connect with Cosmo out in the hall after the game!
We were able to attend a women's basketball game the next day and it was crazy how cheap the tickets were! We sat practically courtside in the Marriot Center, which was amazingly fun. When we watch the men play, we usually end up as high as we can go and almost have to watch the game with binocculars!
And Cosmo must really like our family, because he followed us to the women's game, even sitting with us to watch the game for a bit.
Whenever we drive past SLC, we always have to stop in and check on the progress of the temple. It is getting so close now! Just one year left of construction work!
The Joseph Smith Memorial beuilding was finally open again and decked out beautifully with Christmas decor!
And temple square was so gorgeously decorated for Christmas!
