Fall Fun

We had lots of oportunities for fun this fall!  The kids always get Harvest Break the last week of September and first week of October so that they can help bring in the Harvest.  Charlotte got the opportunity to work this year and we hardly saw the girl.  But I got in lots of fun experiences with Whitlee and Bronson.

Whitlee needed a project, so I challenged her to make leopard bread.  She did this all by herself and did an amazing job!  Plus it tasted great!

I took Whitlee and Bronson for a Fall hike in Pocatello on a beautiful Fall day, and we loved it!

And we found some time with Charlotte, when we were able to sneak away to the corn maze.  We love theri ziplines, corn pools, barrel train rides, jumping activities, and the corn maze itself is always tons of fun.  We also had the chance to escape from a double-decker escape bus!

The girls and I decided to do a "Naild it" challenge with royal frosted sugar cookies.  We each had to come up with a concept for a set of cookies, then we scrambled them up and had to try to recreate what we drew.  I couldn't believe how talented my girls are!!  Plus, the cookies tasted amazing!

We have some really gorgeous sunsets around here!

And somehow the conditions were just right a few times this summer and over the Fall that we were able to see the Northern Lights with the right cell phone lens exposure!

Charlotte made us some mini pies

We tried to go to the Burley Temple open house, but found that we would have to stand in a line and wait for 4-5 hours, and we didn't have time to wait that long, so we just drover around it and then went to get lunch with the kids.

Whitlee had a piano recital.

She is doing so amazing!  She has learned so much this past year!
