Charlotte's Sophomore Basketball Season

Charlotte made the varsity basketball team this year!!  At first, they told her that they wanted her to play half JV and half Varsity because they barely got enough girls to try out this year to create a C-Team, JV, and Varsity, so some girls had to pull double duty.  The IDHSAA  rule is that a player can only play 5 quarters in a day of competition.  So she started JV, and then they only let her play one quarter so that she could play 4 Varsity quarters.  Eventually, she proved herself so valuable to the team, that they told her to quit playing JV and only play Varsity so that she could be available 4 quarters if needed.  She just keeps getting better and better every time I watch her!  We are so proud of all that she has accomplished in these two short years!

She even got her chance to start a game when one of the regular starters wasn't available!

She plays very aggressive defense.
