The Fair
Visiting the Eastern Idaho State Fair every year is a highlight of the end of summer. The kids always look forward to entering some of the arts and crafts that they have made throughout the year, and they love going to explore, eat, and play with friends.
This year, Charlotte had the opportunity through the volleyball program to usher a concert for the band Train. They needed extra parent volunteers, so Zac and I tagged along for a date night. Train was great and we had a wonderful night.
Whitlee was invited to go ride the rides with a friend and was finally old enough to wander the fair without parents, though Zac and I weren't far away at the concert. She did great!
Bronson got a blue ribbon for a 3D printed temple, and Whitlee got a blue ribbon for a miniature house she built. And Charlotte was brave and entered some art this year, though she didn't win any ribbons. I was so proud of her for putting herself out there, and I thought her art was amazing!
