Halloween 2025

I love Halloween.  It is just pure fun and treats and located right at the peak of Fall.

It usually involves some fun crafts.  This year the girls and I all decided to paint a ghost doing a normal task.

And my sisters and I had a little retreat where we haunted Island Park.

And even though I try to get rid of our Pumpkin Pick contest every year... I even bought pumpkin stencils this year... the kids and Zac still pushed for the contest and we came up with 5 totally original pumpkin ideas.  We didn't even use a single one of the stencils I bought.

In honor of our almost 25th wedding anniversary, I decided to carve Wilson from the movie Cast Away, which is the movie Zac and I went to see in theaters when we discussed marriage for the first time on the way home from our date.

My friend Pam dug out a picture of Zac and my first Halloween together, the year we started to date!

Zac decided to carve the Operation guy, so creative, I don't even know how he comes up with these ideas!

Somehow, we convinced Bronson to dress up for Halloween, but only because he has an epic BYU jersey that Ashlyn brought him back from the Philippines.  Whitlee matched some of her friends as a cow, and Charlotte was part of a gangster crew with her friends.

Our awesome neighbor, Brutch, showed up in his iconic Trump costume and wanted a picture with the inner-city youth.

Zac decided that he wanted to go as Winston Churchill, and therefore, I had to be Queen Elizabeth, Zac even bought me a tiara.
Cousin Kesley asked Ashlyn to come in on Halloween and give a presentation about the Philippines, so Ashlyn got to dress in her traditional Filipino dress for Halloween.

And at the ward party, the local missionaries came as the Book of Mormon and the Bible.

Since Hallween didn't land on a school day this year, we decided that Whitlee should have a Halloween party with her friends so that the day still felt special.

We ended our Halloween evening with a homemade dinner of spooky spaghetti, spider rolls, and sugar cookies.  We had a great Halloween!
