The Twins are 21

It was so fun having the twins home to share their birthday again after 2 years of celebrating apart.  Even though they joke that they don't like having to share their birthday, it would be so sad for them if it weren't a joint celebration.  They love eachother so much.

We started the morning with Tanner's favorite thing in the world, MUFFINS!

Bronson and Whitlee thought it would be fun to give Ashlyn drink mixes, since she is now legally old enough to drink.  They are just Torani's syrups, but Bronson made legit wine labels for them.

Ashlyn made her own birthday cake, because she loves to bake and make beautiful food.  It was a delicious raspberry shortcake.

And tanner just wanted milkshakes, so we got some fun mix-ins to make our own custom milkshakes.

We saw this Hot Wheels shirt and couldn't pass up the joke because little boy Tanner loved Hot Wheels more than any kid I know.  Unfortunately, the shirt only came in kid sizes, and we had to take it back because Tanner isn't so kid-sized anymore.
Ashlyn's milestones from the year:
1. Finished her mission in the Philippines.
2. Started back to school at BYU-I, continuing in Graphic Design, but taking intro to Nursing to see if that is a pathway she would want to pursue.
3. Living with friends in Rexburg and enjoying college life.
4. Dating and meeting new friends.
5. Getting a job at a care facility for older people.

Tanner's milestones from the year:
1. Continuing school at BYU-I in Medical Biology.
2. Living with friends at Alpine Chalet.
3. Still loves to fish and glam up trucks.
4. Worked for dad all summer on construction projects.
5. Loves the cabin and loves to be at home watching movies and playing games with family.

I can't believe that these two are legal adults in every way.  They have come so far from when they were my tiny 3.5 lb premies.  I can't imagine life without them.  They are the best partners to navigate this life together, and we are so blessed that they came together!
