Golfing

Ian developed quite a fondness for golfing by his senior year.  He recruited a few friends who also liked to golf and, they went as many times as they could once the weather turned fair up until they left on their missions.

Ian and I wanted to have a special golf trip with Grandpa Bob before he left on his mission, so we drove North to meet GPA at his favorite golf course, and we had an awesome day.

We also had a really fun opportunity to take Ian and Tanner golfing at a local course to celebrate their birthdays, and went out to dinner afterwards.  Tanner doesn't seek golfing as much as he does fishing, but he does have to remind us from time to time that he is the only one in the family who actually did a PGA golf tournament summer program as a youth, and he's decently good at golfing.

Ian is like the fun drunk uncle that everyone wishes they had.  He makes every outing silly and fun and usually ends it with a good bet.  I am going to miss my golfing buddy so much!
