Girls Camp at the Cabin
I got called to be the Young Women's camp director this year! And because the stake was having a trek, they wanted us to do our own ward camps. I gave the girls a few options, but they decided that they wanted to come to our cabin in Island Park, and I can't say I blame them. It is a magical place.
We stopped at Mesa Falls on the way up and went on a little hike, and ate lunch.
We had skit night that night, where the girls were randomly put into groups, had to fill out a Mad-Lib and then act it out. It was lots of fun!
We introduced the girls to hunting crawdads and to our surprise, they really loved it!
We did the Buffalo river float to Pond's Lodge.
And on the way home, we stopped at BYU-I, did a ropes course, walked around the botanical gardens, and ate at Pizza Pie Cafe.
It may have been one of the most fun girl's camps I have ever attended, but I may be biased. I loved our theme of "He numbers the stars and knows them all by name." We had so many great spiritual expriences as we talked about looking up and the Lord's love for each one of us!
