Martineau Christmas Pickleball Tourament

We decided several years ago as sisters that instead of getting each other family gifts, we would use the money we would have spent on gifts on a fun family activity to do together instead.  We have gone to Green Canyon and rented out a gymnastics gym.  This year it was my turn to be in charge.  Pickleball has been very popular these past few years, and almost everyone in the Martineau family plays.  So we decided to reserve our stake center to have a single-elimination pickleball tournament, and it was SO fun.  Each person was paired with someone of the opposite sex, not in their immediate family.  We told them there would be an extra prize for best team uniforms, and the family did not disappoint.

Lyndsay and Gunnar swept the tournament with Shay and Brynlee taking 2nd place. They all got Amazon gift cards and medals.

We had lots of fun visiting and playing games between matches.

Afterwards, everyone came to our house for a Christmas Eve feast, a nativity, and a slideshow.

I really love my sisters and my family.  I'm so glad Heavenly Father sent me to this family.
