4th of July

We had an awesome 4th of July.  We started a few days early at our neighbor Doug and Laura VanOrden's annual fireworks party.  Their fireworks shows are incredible.  They are huge and impressive.  We are close enough that we lose half of our hearing, and we go home with ash in our hair and we love it.  We also love the camaraderie with our community and enjoying a BBQ together on a beautiful summer evening.  It is always amazing how the weather cooperates at the last minute to make it possible.

We then lit off a few of our own at home.  And while our golden girl Sage hides in the garage because she HATES fireworks.  Bailey loves them so much she tries to grab them and run with them.

We spent the actual 4th of July at the Cabin, where we always enjoy the annual boat parade, ATV parade, and fireworks show on the lake!

4th of July truly is one of my favorite holidays of the year!
