Tanner and Ashlyn go to Prom

Tanner and Ashlyn went to Prom!  And they got to do it together because the boy that asked Ashlyn jumped in on Tanner's group.

They decided to do a Bob Ross date and Tanner asked me if I would help him set up the date at our house.  We transformed our basement into an art studio:

We looked up a Bob Ross tutorial and found acrylic paints to match Bob's oils as best we could.

We made sure that there were lots of treats and drinks for the painters.

And we set up a game of Happy Little Trees to play after the paintings were done.

We also got to feed the crew lunch and we had fun making the luncheon pretty!

I couldn't believe how well the paintings turned out!  Painting like Bob is no small feat!  Overall, there were lots of laughs and everyone had a great time.
