Summer Family Fun

We had a lot of fun this summer.

Whitlee got a butterfly hatching kit for her birthday and when they hatched, we had a butterfly releasing party where we wore our prettiest hats, listened to beautiful music, and blew bubbles while we released the butterflies into nature.  It was beautiful.

Charlotte got glasses!

Zac worked non-stop finishing up some big commercial building renovations.  On this particular night, we had several kids doing sports and we were sending pictures, videos, and texts on a family text thread with updates.  We got this one from Zac in return.  He had just cut in a new doorway!  Yay!  Go Dad!

We did lots of sidewalk chalk murals:

Whitlee had a countdown to the end of school.  Letter M day was mustache day.

Zac remodeled his office in Idaho Falls.  Whitlee and I came to visit him after her field trip to check up on his progress.

Whitlee won the PBS Kids Go Writer's Contest for 1st Graders and got a $100 scholarship!

Zac got an inflatable projector screen for his birthday and we had some outdoor movie nights.

Bailey spent the last of her hot summer being uncomfortably pregnant with seven roly poly puppies.

Ian got braces!

We did lots of baking.

And the thing I love so much about our family is that at the end of the day we love to gather in for family prayer, but then usually make it last for hours while we talk, giggle, and wrestle together.

Zac caught this candid of Bronson, who is trying to grow up way to fast!

After spending last summer doing a "Stay At Home" girl's camp.  Ashlyn was so happy to enjoy a week at Pasa La Coma girl's camp this year!

These girls know how to have some fun while roughing it!
