Underwater Ghost Town

We are in a continuation of a severe drought out here in the West, which really stinks, as it makes it difficult for farmers to anticipate how to water crops, but also takes a hit on boating as the reservoirs have been so low.  The one bright side to the drought is that when the water is down so low, the underwater ghost town of what used to be American Falls is revealed.  It is so fascinating to see tree-lined sidewalks and building foundations.  And marks in the sidewalk that indicated this used to be a town where people lived, worked, and played!

Ghost towns have always been fascinating to me and an underwater one is just the apex of coolness!
