Fall Fun

We had quite the eventful Fall full of so many significant events and memories!

The day Ashlyn moved into her apartment at BYU-I, cousin Macey got married in Rexburg.  We felt grateful that we could spend the day in Rexburg moving Ashlyn in and celebrating Macey's special day.

Grandma Kris pulled off a miracle.  She was so sick the morning of the wedding and didn't think she would be able to make it.  We were praying for her and by the time the wedding started, she was there!  Not only that, but she was able to stay and visit with family and said the next day she didn't feel any worse for the wear.

Zac took off on a big trip across the globe for two weeks, so I talked my mom and dad into doing 9-holes of golf with me!  It was fun to catch up with them and see how good they are getting at golfing.

Ashlyn's best friends Cassidy and JoAnna got their mission calls on the same day and read them together.  We were excited to be invited to watch them open their calls.  Cassidy is going to Cinncinatti Ohio and JoAnna is going to Little Rock Arkansas!

During Harvest break, the kids needed a project, so I bought them each a rocket kit.  They built the rockets and then we took them over to the Middle School and launched them!

My sisters and I got to enjoy a Girls Night Out at the cabin.  When we arrived, we found a mother moose hanging out in our yard with her calf!

This is how I feel sometimes, but even though it took some twists and turns at least it continues to head in the right direction, growing toward the light!

Beautiful and tranquil Island Park Reservoir.  Fall is my favorite time.  It is so quiet.  All the vacationers have gone home.  The water is glass and it is so peaceful!

Charlotte made us some caramel apples from the apples on our tree!

Ian got inducted into the National Honor Society

And the kids had fun dressing up for Homecoming week.  Crazy hair day, crazy sock day, Hillbilly day, and Superhero day!
