St. George and Living Planet Aquarium 2021

We were so blessed to have the opportunity to leave behind the nasty wind, rain, and snow of Idaho to spend a week in paradise in St. George, Utah with Zac's family.  As always when we drive into southern Utah, our breath is taken away when we see the gorgeous red rock and rock formations.  We had a solid week of bliss swimming, hiking, eating, shopping, and playing games with Grandma and Grandpa, and soaking in some precious cousin time!

We had a quick stop in SLC on the way to check on the progress of the amazing renovations on the Salt Lake City Temple.

Whitlee and Hadi best little cousin friends.

This year we tried something new and drove down to the reservoir and tried some cliff diving.  Some of us were braver than others, but all of us had a very memorable time!

The boys also thought it would be good fun to try their hand at fishing this year.  The fishing was horrible, but that never stops our boys from having a great time!

On the way home, we decided to stop at a halfway point to stretch our legs.  The Living Planet Aquarium was the perfect stop.  By far the best aquarium I have ever visited it was a huge hit with our fish-loving kids.  They had fish from almost every continent including reptiles, birds, and some of our favorite mammals.

This snow leopard was Whitlee's favorite and we all but had to drag her away from it as she felt they were making quite a connection.

We are so abundantly blessed to have such a great family.  Zac and I were talking about how rare it must be to spend an entire week in the same house with your extended family and not have one fight or hurt feelings... nothing but love and laughter.
It makes it so hard to say goodbye, but even though trips can't last forever, families can and we are so happy to have this one to call ours.
