Easter 2021

Easter is such a wonderful holiday, the promise of warmth and Spring and new life and thoughts of our Savior and the Resurrection make Easter one of my favorite holidays.

We bought a couple of Easter Egg dye kits, but of course, the kids love to use their own ingenuity just as much as the dyes.

These are our in-house artist, Ashlyn's eggs:

And Tanner's one contribution... He was too busy messing with his truck to come in and dye eggs with us.

The Easter Bunny came on Easter Saturday and left us lots of little prizes to use outdoors to celebrate the warm weather.

And as always, that tricky bunny hid candy all over the house.  We often find candy all throughout the year that we missed finding during Easter!

The twins are getting far too old and cool to hunt for candy anymore.  They have learned to let the little kids find the candy and then they raid their baskets later.

Later on Saturday, we were invited to our Fillmore Cousin's new ranch retreat in Mackay, ID.  It was a beautiful place to be and we enjoyed being with our cousins and listening to general conference.  It made for a very memorable Easter.

There were lots of games of football.

However, there was no TV or Internet, so we all had to gather around Zac's cell phone to get the updated scores for the Final Four March Madness games.  We may have gotten a little competitive with our brackets this year!

And an Easter Egg hunt around the yard on Easter Sunday.

Charlotte and Ashlyn got makeovers from cousin Meg.

We loved being able to be with family again and listen to General Conference while enjoying the beauty of Spring and nature.
