Spring Fling

With Covid numbers down a bit, our high school has once again approved school dances.  Since the girl's choice dance in the Fall got canceled, they decided to make Spring Fling a girl's choice.

Tanner's date knew that he loved to fish and knew just the right bait to hook him into a dance.

His date is a fun friend from school and they had a great time together.

Ashlyn and her friends decided to use our house as "get ready" headquarters.  It was so fun watching the girls get all dressed up for the dance.

Ashlyn looked so pretty in her formal and heels.  This is the first time she has ever tried heels and and I was worried she was going to break her leg!

Her date forgot about a corsage, so she had to wait at his house while his parents hastily put together some flowers for her to wear.  She was such a good sport and and made for a funny memory.

Ashlyn's crew headed to a friend's house for dinner and then to the dance.

For their day date, Ashlyn's group played laser tag and after the dance, they came back to our place for some "Game Show" themed games.  They had a lot of fun and it was fun to be part of their date as I helped them with the games!

Tanner's crew went skating and played laser tag.  They had a fancy dinner at one of the girl's houses and then had a movie and games afterward.

They both had so much fun and are enjoying being old enough to date.  We have such great kids out in our area.
