Princess Parties and Scout Campouts

The boys got to go on a Scout camp out over the weekend.  Zac was invited to go along as a leader, so he took the boys with him... and Charlotte.  She really wanted to go and her birthday was the next day, so he happily obliged.  I didn't think Whitlee would be up for hanging and sleeping out in the wind and rain, so we told her she had to stay home.  She was sobbing saying she needed to be in the forest, so Ashlyn and I devised a Princess Party and all was well with her.

She picked us each out a flowery dress to wear.  We went to the library and got a Princess movie to watch.  We did some Princess shopping and we painted our nails.  We watched Cinderella and did some fancy dancing.  It was quite the Princess party and ended with a sleep over in Ashlyn's bed.

These two are sweet sisters.

The campers also had a wonderful time.  

Charlotte fit right in with those crazy boys. 

She went to bed 6 and woke up 7!

She may have even kept up with the Scouts on eating and being gross. 

We are so lucky to have a daddy who loves to take his kids on camp outs and a mom who loves to stay at home and sleep in her big Princess bed.  Life doesn't get much better than that.
