Blue and Gold Banquet

Ian recently had a Blue and Gold Banquet to celebrate the birthday of scouting.  The cruel irony of this banquet is that it always comes the same week of Bronson's birthday and the boys are always asked to make a cake with their dads to bring for dessert.  Our family is always so sick of cake that we decided to get creative this year.  The theme for this year's banquet was "Passport to the World".  Zac and Ian decided to make a globe out of 4 batches of Rice Krispy treats.  It was quite the feat.  Ian had an amazing time making this creation with his dad and of course it was the biggest hit at the party.  It was also fun to hear our dad present a little talk to the kids about what it was like to live in Albania.  We had a really wonderful night.  So grateful to so many people who make scouting magical in our community.
