Spring Break?

Spring Break the time that college kids bust it for the Florida Keys and anywhere tropical and warm.  But we are not college kids, and we are not sane your average family, so when the kids had Spring Break, we ran towards the snow and went to visit the family cabin.

There was definitely enough snow to satisfy our hunger for snow as we did not get much this year at our own home.

Ian fashioned himself a sled/ snowboard and had a ball trying it out on all of the big drifts.

 While our industrious Dad dug a big snow cave/ tunnel.

Snow caves beat sand castles any day!

And Whitlee thought she was pretty hot stuff because she figured out how to get up the stairs in the cabin. 

Spending long days snow bound in a cabin without Internet service, television, in cramped quarters with eight people... Best Spring Break Ever!  We had a great time playing games, doing puzzles, watching movies, and eating snacks.  Can't wait to come back!
