Ian Gets His Mission Call

Ian was eligible to put his mission papers 5 months before his eligibility date,  which he put as July 5th and he got his call on February 15th.  We was so nervous and excited.  We put up the maps and everybody made their guesses!

Ian had a massive group of boys in his grade who all chose to serve missions right fter graduation and they have been a huge support to each other cheering each other on as each mission call has been opened.

I love that Ian chose to wear a suit while he opened his call and he recognized what a sacred and special moment this was.   He was called to serve in Piracicaba Brazil Portuguese speaking and he was thrilled.  He said Brazil was on a list of dream missions for him. 

Directly after the mission call opening, these boys changed into their Wicked Wombat uniforms and dashed of to play a late game together.

I am forever grateful for the great friends and influences that have been in Ian's life and look forward to watching begin his amazing mission!
