Charlotte Turns 15

Charlotte had quite an extended birthday celebration this year!  Mom and Dad decided to pick up Ashlyn from her mission in the Philippines and it landed on Charlotte's birthday, so we had an early celebration with cheesecake before Mom and Dad left and we watched Mufasa for a family party.

Then on her actual birthday, she made herself a cake and had friends over,  who also made her a cake.   Her Volleyball coach also made her birthday treats and several other ward members and friends either made her treats or offered to,  because they knew mom and dad were gone.  We have her some early presents before we left and saved some to open on her actual birthday and we video called her to wake her up and watch her open a few more presents.  She was a good sport and her siblings took her to see the school play that night. 

 She got an Apple watch and an IPSY makeup bag subscription from mom and dad and lots of nice things from her siblings.

10 Things About Charlotte 

1.  She loves to do everything!  That girl is busy 24/7 doing volleyball, basketball, school,  student council, violin lessons, and church activities.

2.  She is athletic and is getting so fun to watch as she plays middle in volleyball.  Her team is so good and have won tough tournaments and rarely lose a game.  She also got her Varsity letter in basketball this year and continues to get better and better every day.

3. She is so artistic and is always creating beautiful things from artwork and pottery to embroidery, and even embroidered her converse shoes!  She is also amazing at graphic design on the computer.

4.  She is so smart and continues to get straight A's!

5. She got her driver's license this year.

6.  She begged for private violin lessons and she puts her heart into learning and practicing and plays beautifully.  She is even getting difficult vibrato down.

7. She wants to be a home designer/architect  or interior designer when she grows up.

8. Her favorite food is cheesecake followed by strawberry, raspberry, or huckleberry milkshakes.

9. She is awesome at fashion, hair, and makeup and can do gel nails like a pro!  She gets compliments for her fashion choices regularly.

10.  She has a beautiful testimony and makes really good life choices that keeps her close to her Savior.

We love our Charlie Girl and are so grateful she is in our family!!,
