A Night of Music

We have been so blessed to have an orchestra program in our school district.  Every one of our kids has had the opportunity to learn a stringed instrument, and they all have an appreciation for music and love being able to play and enjoy making music.

I love it when the kids are in a musical mood and they all bring out their instruments and collaborate.

And even though they all complained about piano lessons and dreamed of the day they could quit, I love watching them have the ability to sit down and enjoy playing a piece that they enjoy.

Whitlee is our last girl standing in the orchestra program.  We have loved watching her grow and improve in her violin skills this year.  I love hearing her practice at home on her own free will and see how much she loves the violin.
