Ian is a Basketball Champion!

Ian competed in his first official year of "School Basketball" and had a fantastic season.  These boys have been playing together since 3rd grade and have formed an amazing bond.  They have also had the good fortune of having our District Athletic Director as their personal coach from the time they were 10 and he has taught them some serious skills and helped them perfect their plays.

This ultimately resulted in an undefeated season.  Not only were they undefeated, but they won almost every single game by more than 20 points.

So they were seeded #1 going into District Tournaments, and they dominated!

They won their final game 45-21 and became the District Champions.

We had the cutest cheering section in the arena, as Annie had brought her family down to cheer him on.

I am so proud of Ian.  He worked so hard this year and is improving so much every year.  He set a goal this year to make points in every game and he darn near got it done even throwing in buzzer beaters in two different games (almost 3!)  The boys this age are talented athletes and we can't wait to see what they will accomplish through their school career!
