An Awesome Cake at a Blue and Gold Banquet

Ian had his final Blue and Gold scout banquet and it was a bitter sweet experience.  Cub scouts has been such a fun experience, but Ian is so excited to start Boy Scouts and enjoy all of the camp outs, hikes, and fun activities that come from being a boy scout.

Every year for the Blue and Gold banquet, the boys are asked to design and bake a cake to share.  When Ian thought of the "Blue" in "Blue and Gold" he thought of his favorite color of blue... BYU Blue and combined his passions to make this cake.

The interior of the cake was a marbled blue and white and was so cool and delicious, it was one of the first cakes to be devoured.

Ian has had lots of fun in Cub Scouts this year and has learned so much from his great leaders.
