New Surf Boat

After having the second or third year in a row of having a broken down boat during the 4th of July fireworks, we finally had enough and decided to upgrade our boat!  The kids prevailed on us and we bought a surf boat.

We bought it at the beginning of Fall, so most of the reservoirs were too low to put it in, but we at least got it in a small stretch of the Snake River to at least test it out and make sure everything ran.  Unfortunately, on the way to the river, we didn't realize the back seat wasn't buckled in and it went flying out of the boat landing on the Interstate where it was run over a couple of times.  Ugh!  But at least it ran.

We love how comfortable the boat is and how it fits us all so well and we can't wait to try out surfing.  Hopefully, Zac and I can get over our anxiety about boats with issues and enjoy the ride!  We are REALLY looking forward to watching the 4th of July fireworks this year from the lake!
