Halloween 2023

Our kids are growing up so fast and Halloween really drives home that point!  We only have one kid left who gets excited to dress up for school and go trick-or-treating.  Even this year Whitlee had a hard time deciding what to be, but fell in love with this darling Monarch butterfly costume.  I decided to get in on the action and dressed up like a butterfly collector.

Zac and I proposed to get rid of our annual Pumpkin Pick pumpkin carving contest, in lieu of some new pumpkin carving traditions, but the kids had a fit, so the Pumpkin Pick prevailed for another year!

Ian came up with this darling Krack-O-Lantern

Charlotte had a Pumpkin Pool Party

Whit created a beautiful mountain landscape

And Bronson paid tribute to a favorite hobby of fishing.

It was close between Ian and Charlotte, but Charlotte won in the end.

Zac created this masterpiece entitled, "The Pearl of Great Price"

And I created the Scare-O-Sel

My creation blew Zac's out of the water!

On Halloween the big kids decided to dress up this year!

Bronson was Jimmer Fredette

Charlotte was Taylor Swift 1989 era.

And Ian was a fireman (a costume he got when he was a little boy!  Charlotte also doubled as a hippie when she helped out at the school carnival).

We had a great time on Halloween night playing Bingo with our ward and trick-or-treating around the church.  We love Halloween!
