BYU Women's Volleyball

We sure love having the puppies around, but it is always a relief when it is time for them to go to their new homes.  One of our favorite traditions of the last few years is to make a puppy delivery to the Salt Lake valley and do something fun together as a family.  This year we decided to go down to Provo as several of our puppy families lived there and it just so happened that the BYU Women's volleyball team had a home game that weekend.

We also decided to try out a pumpkin patch and corn maze while we were there.  And this place was pretty awesome.  The admission also included lots of fun rides.

But the best part of the weekend was the Volleyball Game!

Charlotte had just finished a very fun Volleyball season for 8th grade and she loved watching these elite athletes who all but fly when they jump!

We love the vibe at BYU.  The student section is always so supportive of their sports teams and the Fieldhouse was packed.  There is always fun music and activities and funny antics by Cosmo the Cougar!

The game was so intense and ended up going all 5 matches with a close win at the end.  There may have even been a few tears of joy from Charlotte when BYU pulled out the win!

The next day, it just so happened that there was a solar eclipse!  We also enjoyed a scenic drive home through Provo Canyon.  The Fall colors were so beautiful!

We also stopped in Park City and showed the kids where the 2002 Summer Olympics took place and we got a treat when we got to watch ski jumpers training there at the facility!

It was such a fun and memorable trip!  And we will definitely be back for another volleyball game!
