Zac's Trip to Dubai

Zac lives a more exciting life than literally anyone I know.  Through his job, he has traveled the world and seen the many wonders this world holds.  He recently had the opportunity to travel to Dubai for the third time.  Dubai is an insanely rich Arab city that is relatively new.  The Arabs decided to build an extravagant and modern city in the middle of the desert and it is stunning.  All of the architecture is very modern and has feats of engineering!

Zac was especially excited to go this year because, for the first time in a very long time, there was a World Fair.  World Fairs have always fascinated us, so it was an incredible opportunity that Zac got to attend one as it was being hosted in Dubai.  He said that all of the countries in the world that participated had their own booths ranging from the size of a farmer's market stand to a small retail store size space, to booths as large as a Lowes or Costco.  There was no way for him to visit them all, as there were so many, so he had to pick a few of his favorites.

Albania will always have a special place in Zac's heart as he served a two year mission there for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He was able to visit their booth!

And this awesome museum which has been under construction for the last several years and right outside the hotel where Zac stays was finally finished and the grand opening took place while Zac was there.  Unfortunately, tickets were limited and Zac wasn't able to get in.  It would have been so awesome as this is a Museum of the Future.  Hopefully, an opportunity will present itself someday to get back and see it.... with his wife!

The famous giant wooden shoe and giant tea cups in the Amsterdam Airport.

And while dad was away, the kids took full advantage of sleeping in his comfy bed and making sure mom wasn't lonely.  Unfortunately, there was no room left for me!
