Finally Snow!

We have begun one of the worst droughts in our area in over a hundred years.  We have been worried about the mild winters we have been having for the last several years and have been praying and fasting for more moisture.  We we so excited to go play in Island Park which always has a white winter even if we aren't having one at home.

We took the opportunity while in the snow to go sledding, snowmobiling, and skiing.  We even made snowmen and had snowball fights.  We did it all!

We didn't have enough snow to make even one snowman until late one February night it started snowing around 8 p.m.  We ran outside and played in that snow before it could melt working together as fast and furiously as we could to get in our annual family igloo and even had enough left over for several snowmen and snowwomen!

What a magical and memorable night!
