Valentine's Day 2022

Valentine's rolled around and we still got to enjoy some of the fun festivities that Valentine's brings as we still have a few left in the elementary schools.

And a pretty sweet outfit for Valentine's Day!

We made a special Valentine for the kids's teachers... and Bronson might kill me if he reads this later, but he got a special Valentine in his desk from someone special in his class.

Charlotte didn't have a class Valentine's party this year, but put together some cute little treat bags for her friends.

And poor Ian, he missed the entire day of school on Valentines, because he had to have a painful little surgery on his face. It made his eye swell up and he had no desire to go back to school, so he and I actually had a great day together doing lunch and watching a Valentine's movie.

And Zac surprised us with a fun activity where he made a balloon dart throwing game.  We got to throw darts if we answered a Valentine's trivia question correctly and earned a piece of candy.  He also surprised me with flowers.

 We also have an annual tradition of doing Cupid's Crazy Cafe for dinner where the kids have to order crazy sounding menu items for three different courses.  Sometimes they end up with dessert and a drink first, but no utensils, or lots of other combinations of craziness!  It is a fun dinner we all look forward to every year.  I love having this time of year to celebrate the ones we love!
