Labor Day at our Happy Place

For Labor Day this year, we decided to run up to the cabin.  It really is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places on earth.  We considered running up to Yellowstone National Park, but after visiting Warm Springs and seeing how busy it was, we realized that it was Labor Day and that Yellowstone was probably nuts.  We have been there on crazy busy weekends before and we weren't about to do that again, so we made a slight detour for our picnic lunch and ended up finding a nice hiking trail next to this beautiful stream.  It ended up being the most picturesque and memorable day ever.

 I absolutely love this time in our life when the kids are all still home and wanting to be with family, and the babies are grown up enough that we can go on adventures that everyone can enjoy and remember.  It really is the best of times.
