Back to School 2019
Two and a half months ago the kids started school... and two and a half months ago I was beside myself because my baby was going to Kindergarten and I was going to be "empty nested" in a sense and I was sure that I would be bored to death and lonely all day... and yet here I am two and a half months later finally finding some time to post about the kids first day of the 2019-2020 school year. Needless to say, I have kept myself busy and content. And the kids are thriving in school.
Whitlee started Kindergarten this year and LOVES school and loves her teacher. It makes it worth letting her leave.
Charlotte started 4th grade this year! And was so happy to be in a class with a lot of her friends.
Charlotte was even asked to make a presentation to the school board about the art unit that she has been working on in her Gifted/ Talented classes.
Ian started 7th grade, his first year of Junior High. He is looking forward to trying out for school sports teams this year and running for student council eventually.
Bronson is a big 2nd grader this year and has a teacher that was also his scout leader, up until we moved ward boundaries last week. He loves her and is thriving in school this year.
This miss is starting 10th grade and is really looking forward to a driver's license. She thinks she should drive every day to get to her job after school. She is growing up way to fast.
And in other exciting news, she just got her braces off, just in time to start dating and kissing boys... NOT!
Tanner is also in 10th grade this year and added at least 5-10 more fishing shirts to his back to school wardrobe. This boy will only wear fishing, or camping shirts. He is also desperate to get his driver's license and thinks it will enable him to drive himself fishing every day.
Tanner has far outgrown Ashlyn over the past year. It is funny to find out that kids at school and adults in our community are only just figuring out that they are twins. They are still best buds and I love it.
Whitlee's first trip on a school bus. We'll see how long the excitement lasts.
So grateful for a free and public education. Bless the hearts of the teachers. We appreciate you so much.
