Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning

Christmas finally came!  And of course, my kids were very excited.  On Christmas Eve, my kids have a tradition where they sleep together in the same room.  They love it!  We leave them with a phone and instruct them not to leave the room and to call us no earlier than 6:30 a.m., (We learned from our mistakes after they stated calling us at 2 a.m. one year!) at which time we would come and get them and take them upstairs to see what Santa had brought.

And as always, Christmas morning was magical!

At least three of our kids got wood this year, as mom and dad gave them "project" gifts!

Ian got wood to help build him a wood working workshop.  And the twins got wood to use to help them renovate their bedrooms.

The grand finale happened when Ian looked out the window and spied a new 4-wheeler!!  This has been a long over-do necessity to get something that we could use to plow out our long gravel driveway in the winters.  Plus, we intend to have a bit of fun as well!!

What a wonderful Christmas!
