Tiny Dancer

Recently, we were able to make one of Charlotte's lifelong dreams come true.  Which is so great because she is always so patient as we haul the big kids to baseball, and soccer, and football, and basketball, and piano lessons, and scouts, and Achievement Days activities.  It is rare that the little kids get to do an activity all their own.

Charlotte has wanted to take dance lessons pretty much since she was born, but for various reasons Zac and I have always declined to sign her up.  She finally came to her peace with it the other day as we passed a dance studio and she told me.  I know why daddy won't let me take dance.... because dance lessons are only for the "bad dancers" who don't know how to dance yet.  I am already a good dancer, so I don't need lessons.  Exactly right!

Anyhow, when we got a flyer home from school the other day that advertised a cheer clinic, we knew we would find a way to get her there.  Even better she got to perform at the half time of her cousin Madi's basketball game, so a lot of her cousins and relatives were there to watch and cheer for her.

She got four hours of cheer and dance instruction.  Got a free t-shirt, got free admission into the game got to meet some of the ISU Bengal cheerleaders, and got to perform in front of a crowd.  She was all smiles all day long!  She really is our sunshine!
