Sunday Nap

Oh, how I look forward to my Sunday nap. After dinner, Zac and I will lock ourselves in our room to have that 30-60 minute quiet solitude away from the kids. During this time, the kids are supposed to do something quiet and constructive together... puzzles, books, coloring, locking eachother in a closet, whatever they want, just so long as they leave Mom and Dad alone! Every Sunday, Ashlyn chooses for her activity to pound on Mom and Dad's door, saying/yelling over and over "Mom, Mom, MOM!, mom mom mom mom mom..." Though I am good at ignoring it, suddenly I couldn't sleep when I realized the pounding had stopped. And this is how I found Ashlyn, asleep next to our door enjoying her Sunday nap. I'm glad she has found a way to relax and enjoy her Sundays.
