The Curse of the Blue Swimming Pool

For my birthday, Zac got me a large blue swimming pool... you know the kind you can swim laps in. He was very excited and set it up the afternoon of my birthday (and his birthday too of course). It took all day to fill that pool up with water using three hoses, and I kid you not the second the thing was done filling, it started to pour rain! That was on May 30th, from then on it rained EVERY day for the next probably 20 days, making it too cold and miserable to use the pool! It rained on swimming lessons and it rained on nearly every t-ball game, causing two games to become completely cancelled. We finally got to use the thing on Saturday and it hasn't rained yet since, maybe the curse is finally broken.
