Spirit Week and the Run for Riverside

We love Homecoming week for so many reasons, but one of our favorite reasons is for the Spirit Week festivities and dress up days... which just wouldn't be the same if we were having home school, so we are so glad to have the opportunity to continue on in school.

Here are a few of my favorite dress-up days.

Super Hero Day:  Bronson dressed up as Tony Stark (Iron Man).

Whitlee was Bat Girl

Retro Day: Ian was a Greaser from Grease

Crazy Hair Day:  Whitlee had Squid Hair

And Charlotte had a spiderweb with a spider that she made all by herself.

The end of Homecoming week also marked our annual fundraiser for Bronson's school.  I am the PTA president this year, so that meant a huge event for us as we hosted a Run for Riverside with a Superhero Obstacle Course.
I loved being able to run with my boy and love being a part of his school.

We put the teachers through some Super Hero training before we kicked off the race.

And had a lot of fun music thanks to ICCU and their sound machine!

Bronson pre-tested some obstacles for me.  On this one, he had to leap over a tall building in a single bound just like Superman.

I have the sweetest hardest working PTA presidency a girl could ask for and these girls will be friends for life.
