Back to School 2020

Never in the history of Ever have the kids been so happy to go back to school!  Since our school district shut down mid-March, our kids have been dying to get back into the brick and mortar, see their teachers in real life, play with and interact with their peers once again, and participate in all of their beloved activities.  We are beyond lucky and grateful that we have a Superintendant and school district who work hard to keep our schools open while also keeping our faculty and students safe.

I am absolutely floored every year how fast the summer goes and how fast these kids are growing up!

This silly boy started third grade this year.  He is scoring off the charts on his math and reading tests, he may be a certified genius!  And he is really looking forward to starting basketball this year.

This gorgeous girl started  5th grade in middle school this year.  She especially is starting to look so grown up.  She has started a basketball travel league recently and is hoping for a volleyball season as her last one got canceled prematurely.

This boy grew several, several inches over the summer, and is finishing up his last year at the Junior High in 8th grade.  He put himself out there this year and ran for student body president, but found it was hard competition as students were handing out full-on cheeseburgers and donuts!  He didn't win the election, but we are so proud of him for trying.  He really enjoyed football this year and is looking forward to basketball season and possibly track and field!

This big girl is a JUNIOR in high school.  What the what?!?  She has discovered that she loves the freedom that comes from a set of keys and some wheels to go with them.  She is gone so much bouncing between school, work, after school activities, and friend's houses.  She has an awesome set of friends and they are having a lot of fun together.  It is so hard to listen to her making college plans.  It is going way to fast.

This pretty princess started 1st grade this year.  She has lots of opinions on fashion and hair and every morning has been a little battle keeping this diva fashionable.  She is doing so good in school and loves making new friends in her class.  She is especially happy that her best friend Josie finally started school this year and she gets to see her every now and then at school.
And this handsome boy is impossible to catch, not just because he has stayed so busy all summer with track, work, and friends, but also because he is just really fast!  After running over 300 miles this summer, he has qualified for the Varsity Cross Country team.  He seems to already be enjoying Junior year of high school and has a wonderful group of friends that keep him entertained.

Stay away Covid- these kids want to go to school!
