Ashlyn and Tanner go to the Homecoming Dance

One of the exciting new developments of being a Junior in high school is the newfound ability to date, as the twins turned 16 over the summer!

I think every student this year jumped at the opportunity to ask a date to Homecoming as the kids are all hungry to get in as many activities as possible before Covid shuts down the schools again.

Ashlyn got asked by a friend of Tanner's, and handily enough, Ashlyn talked Tanner into asking her friend.

My wonderful friend Sheri agreed to be Ashlyn's stylist and helped her with her hair and make-up!

The boys picked the girls up at our house and as this was everybody's first date in this group, we had to have some lessons about pinning on corsages and boutonnieres. 

The boys took the girls to an Escape Room and then brought them home to change into their pretty dresses.  Then they all had a fancy dinner at one of the boy's houses, headed to the dance for some fun, and then back to watch a movie.  They had an amazing time and can't wait for the next dance.
