4th of July

Our 4th of July celebration is steeped in tradition.  We tried to bribe the kids with a couple of different options this year, but their most favorite way to celebrate in the world is to go to the family cabin in Island Park.

We also love going to a neighborhood BBQ where everyone pitches in and puts on an epic fireworks show and coming home to play with our own sparklers and getting out the fancy camera to track their paths.

We love the 4-Wheeler and boat parades at Island Park!

Even though Covid-19 was running amok causing as much havoc as ever.  Being in Island Park allowed us to keep a distance from the crowds while still enjoying parades and fireworks.  Everything felt perfectly normal and safe and we really did have the best time ever.

Sunday before we left, we decided to find a quiet place in the woods to have our own home church.  And it was so beautiful and memorable.

 

So grateful for this country that we live in and the beautiful area that we are surrounded by.  We are truly beyond blessed.
