Trip to Salt Lake City

We have spent so much time at home with everything shut down because of Coronavirus that as things started opening back up again and Zac asked us if we wanted to go share a hotel room with him in Salt Lake on a business trip, we jumped at the opportunity.  I got up early in the morning and ran Zac to the airport and then for the rest of the day the kids and I explored This is the Place Heritage Park, Hogle Zoo, and the City Creek Mall.

We were so happy to be out and doing things that it really didn't matter what we did.  Although, it was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed seeing the animals at the Hogle Zoo that some of us had never seen before like these adorable giraffes, elephants, polar bears, and sea lions.  The monkeys were probably our favorite and we spent too long watching their hijinx.

Zac was able to fly to Alabama and back in a single day on this private jet.  It was so much more comfortable than his usual commercial flight.

We are so happy that life is moving back towards normalcy!
