February Happenings

Here are a few of the things that we did in February:

Ashlyn and Tanner helped with the National Junior Honor Society inductions, where they as big experienced 8th graders got to welcome in the new 7th graders.  Tanner was the color guard for the flag ceremony and Ashlyn got to have a speaking role where she lighted a candle.  I about teared up seeing how old and mature and beautiful she looked up there.  Time is flying by way to fast!!

And she did a fantastic job on presenting her part

Much of our month was dedicated to watching basketball.  Zac volunteered to coach Ian's 5th/6th grade basketball team and they had a lot of fun together.  We also got to watch Tanner participate in Young Men's basketball and watched him grow and develop his talents there.

 

But my favorite part was the part where we got a new boat!!  Winter can't end soon enough!
