Let Them Eat Cake

It seems like February is becoming Cake Month around here.  Not only is Bronson's birthday at the end of February, but so is the birthday of the adoption of Scouting into the United States, which means Blue and Gold banquets with lots and lots of cake.  We had cake for Bronson's birthday, my parents brought us cake form cousins Garrett and Shay's Blue and Gold banquet and then we ate more cake that week at Ian's Blue and Gold.

At least Ian picked a great tasting cake that we all actually wanted to eat... thanks to the Pioneer Woman and that darn best chocolate sheet cake ever recipe.

Ian had a lot of fun dipping Twinkies and turning them into Pinewood Derby cars.

The cake was a hit!  And wouldn't you know it, the scouts were racing to see who got to eat those darling Twinkie cars first.
