Summer Sleep Outs

My kids crack me up... almost every night once school lets out they start plaguing us with "Can we sleep out on the trampoline?"  We have had to set a rule that they can't ask it within earshot of Charlotte and have to wait to ask us after she is tucked into bed... it's not that we don't love her or don't want her to have fun with her siblings.  It's just that once the moon comes out, she turns into a beast and starts biting, hitting, and kicking any kid within reach.  Hoping to find a cure soon.

Once we get her down to bed though the party can begin!

Daddy is always a part of it... he doesn't sleep out with them, but he does lay out for quite a while telling stories, tickling, and playing games.  Playing with my own dad out on the trampoline when we had sleep outs is one of my most cherished childhood memories with my dad, so I am so glad that we have a daddy that plays with us!

Wow that shutter is fast, this boy was flailing like crazy and you can't even tell he is moving! 

Got to really focus on getting some shots of this kid, he tends to dodge the camera. 

Just another beautiful sunset out here in Paradise. 

We love it here in our peaceful neck of the woods... now if only we could keep every animal within 100 miles from making a sound at night, the kids may actually make it through the night outside one of these days :)
